Cambodia Biosafety Clearing-House
The Cambodia Bioafety Clearing-House (CBCH) is an information exchange mechanism established by the Cartagena Protocol on Biosafety. It assists Royal Government of Cambodia to implement its provisions and to facilitate sharing of information on, and experience with, living modified organisms (LMOs).
Implementation of National Biosafety Framework
The Implementation of the National Biosafety Framework Project (INBF) is established by the Ministry of Environment under UNEP/GEF funded. This project will help Cambodia to put in place a workable and transportation National Biosafety Framework, in line with national development priorities, Agenda 21, and the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD).
Development of National Biosafety Framework
The Development of the National Biosafety Framework Project (DNBF) is funded by UNEP/GEF with the share of one third from the government fund. The main objective of this project is the preparation of National Biosafety Framework in accordance with relevant provisions of the Cartagena Protocol on Biosafety, such as: a regulatory system, an administrative system, a decision making system that include risk assessment and management.
